Dr. Tarr is a fellowship-trained plastic surgeon specializing in advanced breast reconstruction and aesthetic body contouring. Driven by a commitment to excellence and an exacting attention to detail, he approaches each procedure with a focus on restoring form, enhancing confidence, and achieving results that are natural, balanced, and tailored to the individual. He believes that exceptional outcomes are built on thoughtful planning, technical expertise, and a clear understanding of each patient’s goals.
He simultaneously completed both his MD and PhD at the Lewis Katz School of Medicine at Temple University before completing his plastic surgery residency at Northwell Health, where he trained under leading experts in cosmetic and reconstructive surgery. He is currently completing fellowship training in reconstructive microvascular surgery at the University of Pennsylvania, with advanced expertise in breast reconstruction and complex microsurgical techniques.
Dr. Tarr will begin seeing patients at The Breslow Center for Plastic Surgery in August 2026. Outside of medicine, he is an avid photographer, a pursuit that reflects his appreciation for detail, composition, and balance. He resides in Bergen County with his wife and son.
